The Seagull Floors Story
In the spring of 1989 Jay Kobrin founded Seagull Floors, Inc., in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. Mr. Kobrin’s previous experience in the flooring industry covered 20 years on the manufacturing side serving as Vice President at several major carpet mills including Aladdin/Mohawk.
He began his career as a partner with a supplier to the multi-family industry in 1985.
Seagull continued its growth with the opening of Atlanta, Georgia in 1992, Tampa Florida in 2002, Charlotte North Carolina in 2005, Winston-Salem/Greensboro, North Carolina in 2006, and Raleigh North Carolina in 2008.
True to the philosophy begun 1989, we still focus 100% of our attention to the Multi-family industry in all markets we service.
